Refund & Cancellation Policy

Policy Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all tour packages, hotel + transport packages, and travel services booked through BookMeraSafar (bookmerasafar.com), by phone, WhatsApp, or in person. By paying the booking confirmation amount, you accept this policy along with our Terms & Conditions.

Booking Confirmation Amount (Non-Refundable)

To confirm your booking, a fixed booking confirmation amount must be paid in advance. This amount is used to reserve hotels and vehicles for your travel dates and is therefore strictly non-refundable under all circumstances of customer-initiated cancellation.

The booking confirmation amount is adjusted in your total package cost — it is not an extra charge. It only becomes non-refundable if you cancel the booking.

Cancellation Charges & Refund Slabs

Cancellation charges are calculated on the total package cost, based on the number of days between the date we receive your written cancellation request and your departure date:

  • The non-refundable booking confirmation amount (₹6,000 for cab + hotel packages, ₹15,000 for tempo traveller + hotel packages) is never refunded on customer cancellation, in any slab.
  • In the "within 30 days" slab, the 50% deduction is inclusive of the booking confirmation amount — total deduction will not exceed 50% of the package cost (or the booking amount, whichever is higher).
  • No refund is payable for unused services, late arrival, early departure, or services voluntarily not availed during the tour.
Peak season note: During peak/festival seasons (e.g. Char Dham Yatra season, Diwali, New Year), hotels and transport suppliers may apply stricter non-refundable conditions. Where applicable, these will be clearly communicated to you in writing at the time of booking and will prevail over the standard slabs above.

How to Cancel & Claim a Refund

Send a written cancellation request from your registered phone number or email to info@bookmerasafar.com or WhatsApp +91-9289286968, mentioning your name, booking details, and travel date.

The date we receive your written request is treated as the cancellation date for calculating the refund slab. Verbal/phone-only cancellations are not accepted.

Our team will confirm your cancellation in writing along with the exact refund amount and deduction breakup within 48 hours.

The eligible refund is processed within 7–14 working days to the original payment method or your bank account.

Cancellation or Changes by BookMeraSafar

  • If we cancel a confirmed booking for reasons within our control and cannot offer an acceptable alternative, you will receive a 100% full refund of all amounts paid — including the booking confirmation amount.
  • If we modify an itinerary, hotel, or vehicle due to availability or operational reasons, we will provide a similar or better alternative at no extra cost.
  • Force majeure: For cancellations caused by events beyond reasonable control (natural disasters, landslides, extreme weather, strikes, political unrest, pandemics, government orders, yatra route closures), refunds are limited to amounts recoverable from hotels and transport suppliers. We will make best efforts to recover and pass on the maximum possible amount, or offer rescheduling / credit towards a future trip.

Date Changes & Postponement

  • Requests to change travel dates are subject to hotel and vehicle availability and any difference in seasonal pricing.
  • One date change requested more than 30 days before departure is generally accommodated free of charge (price difference, if any, applies).
  • Date changes requested within 30 days of departure are treated as per supplier policy and may attract charges; we will always inform you of the exact cost before proceeding.
